BOSSES at The Range in Redditch have confirmed the launch date for their new branch of Iceland Foods opening within the store.

In addition to the essential items across DIY, Hardware, Petcare and Cleaning products, the store will start selling the complete Iceland Foods offering, including fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy, meat and store cupboard staples.

The Iceland launch at The Range in Redditch follows a strategic alliance formed in August 2018.

The new branch will be opening on Friday, July 24.

In line with current Government guidelines, additional measures are in-place to make it safe for staff and customers. These include social distancing markers to help people stay at least 2m apart, sanitising stations at the entrance and contactless card payment where possible.

Shopping Centre Manager, Ken Williams commented on the Iceland opening in The Range: “We are delighted about the introduction of Iceland to The Range in Kingfisher Shopping Centre. It serves as a fantastic addition to our current offering and we’re sure that both the frozen and fresh food, as well as the bakery will be well received by our visitors. It’s really positive to welcome a big brand retailer during these challenging times and is a testament to the ongoing appeal of Kingfisher and Redditch town centre as a whole”.

Owner and Founder of The Range, Chris Dawson states: “The Range’s massive non-food selection combined with Iceland’s unique food offering will provide customers with all their everyday essentials under one roof. I think our customers will be surprised and delighted to view the extent and quality of Iceland’s food selection when it opens later this month. We are certain that it will have a positive impact on footfall within the Shopping Centre”.
