A MAN has been banned from a Herefordshire address for three years after subjecting his victim to two months of racially aggravated harassment.
Peter John Norman, of Willow Rise, Sutton St Nicholas, admitted the offence when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford on July 10.
The court heard the 69-year-old's behaviour between November 14 and January 15 had amounted to the racially aggravated harassment of another person, and had involved directly and indirectly sent texts, emails, prank calls and verbal threats.
Norman was made subject to an 18-month community order and a three-year restraining order, banning him from contacting his victim and from visiting an address in Hereford.
He was also fined £200, ordered to pay a total of £200 in compensation, costs of £185 and a £90 victim surcharge.
