A 79-year-old car driver was taken to hospital with multiple injuries, following a collision in Malvern last week [Friday July 17]
At Worcestershire Royal Hospital, the driver of the Nissan Note was found to have a fractured sternum,deflating lung and reported experiencing chest pains - but is now in a stable condition.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said: "At approximately 9.50am on Poundbank Road, a vehicle has driven towards a grey Nissan Note at speed causing the driver to swerve into a Renault Clio, the first vehicle has left the scene.
"If you saw the incident or saw the car leave the scene would like to hear from you, please contact us on 101 quoting reference 160 I 170720."
