AN acclaimed American roots and soul singer will be serenading the Bewdley crowd at the Music in the Hall event.

Minnesota based singer Chastity Brown will be her passionate vocals and introspective country and soul sound to St Georges Hall on Friday September 28 as part of her UK tour.

Chastity’s unique music blends folk, pop, roots and soul, embracing political and personal themes such as identity and belonging.

She will be performing tracks from her recent studio album Silhouette of Sirens, released last Spring.

The stateside singer has performed on the popular BBC music programme Later…with Jools Holland two years ago.

Support for the night comes from Kidderminster artist Teddy Thompson.
