ACORNS Children's Hospice has launched an appeal for volunteers to help out at its Kidderminster charity shop during the festive season.
The voluntary positions offer flexible working hours and no previous retail experience is necessary.
Becky Pearce, manager of the Acorns shop in Kidderminster high street, said: "As with any retail business, Christmas is one of our busiest times of year, both in terms of donations we receive, and customers seeking a bargain for that perfect present.
“We rely on volunteers to help make the shop a success, so are launching this appeal for anyone who can spare a few hours to help out over the festive period, particularly during our busiest times.
“Our shops are vital for raising the funds we need to continue – volunteering is a fantastic experience for anyone who wants to give it a try.”
Sales from the shop go towards the charity’s work caring for life-limited and life-threatened children across Wyre Forest.
Anyone interested in volunteering can enquire with the shop, or call Becky on 01562 829751.
