A KIDDERMINSTER church are overjoyed after four choir members received a prestigious award.
Elaine Shaw, Esther Mortimer, Matthew and Harriett Moore from St George's Church have had something to sing about after they all bagged the Gold Award from the Royal School of Church Music.
This is the highest award of its kind with holders having to demonstrate a wide knowledge and ability of musical performance, as well as a deep understanding of liturgy and worship.
All four have been preparing hard over many months and their achievement is set to be acknowledged in a service at Worcester Cathedral later this year.
