A MAN was rescued from the River Severn in Stourport and rushed to hospital yesterday evening (Sunday, January 26).
Fire crews from Kidderminster, Stourport and Worcester attended the incident where they saved a man from the river, near to Martins Way, at around 9:30pm.
Ambulance crews, including a paramedic officer and a community first responder, were also called to the scene.
The adult male was treated for the effects hypothermia and taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
