THE faces of 164 of Wyre Forest's key worker heroes are featured in a window display at a Bewdley estate agents.

Hayden Estates put out an appeal for photographs of local key workers to feature in the heart-warming tribute at its office in Load Street.

Manager Sara Hayden was inspired to create the collage after hearing stories of the difficulties friends and family members have faced during the pandemic.

She said: "My partner's grandparents have carers come in and my brother's ex-girlfriend who he's still very close with is also a carer.

"We hadn't seen her in a while and she told she had worked between 70 and 80 hours on week.

"I've heard stories of carers not being able to get hold of tests and being told to buy their own PPE.

"I just became more and more horrified and wanted to do something to say thank you to them all.

"We had the Clap for Carers but now that's stopped, I thought we'll get this display up in its place."

The window tribute features 164 photos of key workers from across Wyre Forest and beyond, including shop workers, carers, firefighters and police officers.

Sara said: "I put the pictures up on Thursday night in place of the Clap for Carers and we'e already had loads of nice comments and people sharing the photos online.

"People have rung up the office to say it's a lovely thought.
