Pam White, chief executive of Evesham’s Garage Art Group’s charity, saw Rosemary Frith painting at a local art exhibition.

Following this, a workshop with Rosemary was organised at Garage Art Group’s Evesham studio which provided a fantastic opportunity for the students to learn something new.

Rosemary said: “The group became highly motivated and eager to begin painting. I left them with ideas of colour, shape and design to create their own images on canvases.

"In August I returned to view their finished work. I was highly impressed with their end results, a credit to themselves and to the teachers who had encouraged them on the way at The Garage Art Group, Evesham.”

All are welcome to see Rosemary Frith demonstrating her art work at Garage Art Group’s event to celebrate World Mental Health Day in association with Time to Change on Saturday, October 13, from 10.30am-2pm at Evesham Town Hall.

Garage Art Group provide art and craft sessions for all with the focus on art for wellbeing.

The sessions are for all ages and abilities including children, adults with mental health and learning disabilities.
