A HOMELESS man was offered a place in a bed and breakfast but refused the accommodation, claiming the owner is a witch.
The man has been living in a field near some offices in Evesham.
Police say they are aware of him and have made great efforts to get him housed. He originates from Malvern but arrived in Evesham about four weeks ago and he has been living in a field. The owners do not have the legal and financial means to get him removed.
The man was was also given accommodation at the Premier Inn but refused this due to people at that location eating meat.
He is reportedly sleeping in a car but has also made a fire.
Maggs Outreach, from Maggs Day Centre, Worcester, are engaging with him in an effort to get him re-housed.
A spokesman from Maggs Outreach said: “We are working with him. He is being directed to a variety of services and we are trying to engage him.”
