Pershore Volunteer Centre have thanked their volunteers who gave just short of 9000 hours in the last year.
One of the ways the volunteers help the community is by providing daily transport to essential day services; the drivers and escorts volunteer an average of 1512 hours each year.
Minibus drivers (for local charities and organisations) volunteer an average of 34 hours each week, 136 hours a month, 408 hours each year.
Social Car Scheme drivers average a total 302 hours a week that’s 3624 hours every year.
Lunch Club helpers volunteer around 50 hours per month that’s 600 hours a year.
Transport, reception, resource and trustees volunteer 225 hours per month, that’s 2700 hours every year.
