A FINANCIAL planning team have raised over £3,000 for Pancreatic Cancer UK by walking from Cleeve Hill to Broadway Tower following the death of a friend and client last year.
Due to the loss of a friend and client, Chris Stock, the team at Broadway Financial Planning were keen to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer UK, to help fund research into diagnosing this killer disease more quickly.
For their challenge the BFP team walked from Cleeve Hill, Gloucestershire to Broadway Tower, Worcestershire on Friday 21st June: midsummer eve. Covering approximately 20 miles of hilly and rough terrain, they arrived at the Tower in time to see the sun set, remembering those that have not been fortunate enough to beat this awful disease.
