PUPILS celebrated their passion for sports at a county wide presentation.
20 South Worcestershire Schools were invited to attend a School Games Mark Presentation at The De Montfort School last week.
This was put on by the local School Games Organiser, Lisa Houghton. Schools are invited to apply for the School Games Mark to show their commitment to the development of competition across their school and into the community. Participating in this process allows schools to evaluate their PE provision and assists them in developing an action plan for future progress.
Mrs Houghton said "It was with great pleasure that I was able to present schools with their award on Thursday, with 6 achieving Bronze, 3 Silver, 9 Gold and 2 schools receiving the highest award of Platinum. Schools can only earn the Platinum after receiving Gold 5 years in a row."
