During the month of December students at St Egwin’s have been focusing on the theme of humility and used the lead up to Christmas as an opportunity to give to others.

Students have linked up with charity Caring Hands and collected 500 plus items for the local food bank. Students have also focused on their own school community and have delivered Christmas hampers to people in the local area that contain a selection of goodies for the Christmas season.

All together staff, students and parents have collected almost a 1000 items.

Miss Keogh teacher at St Egwin’s says “ There has been a real community spirit in school this December with the focus on humility and the gift of giving, It has been amazing to see so many donations making their way through St Egwin’s doors to help our own school community and the wider community in Evesham”

The schools eco team are planning how they can continue to support Caring Hands as one of their focus charities in 2020.
