A GROUP of University of Worcester students raised hundreds of pounds for a Worcester school through a successful fundraiser.
The students organised Fort Royal Friday, which was held on Friday, March 2, to support the Friends of Fort Royal Community Primary School - the charity that looks to help the pupils at the Wyld's Lane-based school that have a type of disability meaning that they struggle in other school environments.
Five businesses took part having collection boxes for the public to make donations. The students went round the businesses on the day to boost the fundraising, and £119.33 was collected on the day.
Nathan Keevil said: "The donation page is still running, until March 11, but currently has £330 on it as well."
