DANNY Glover and Michael Taylor are both set to hand Worcester City a major boost ahead of tomorrow’s visit of Halifax.

The strike duo have been struggling with injuries in recent weeks but have returned to training and are poised to be fit for the Blue Square Bet North clash at St George’s Lane (3pm).

Along with Mike Symons, Alex Meechan and new loan signing Kyle Patterson, manager Carl Heeley expects to have a full complement of strikers available.

He said: “I expect Danny and Michael to be available for the weekend.

“They both trained on Tuesday and were planning to train again last night.

“We want good strikers and we want them available to us because it’s nice to have options.”

Five-goal Glover has missed the last seven matches with an achilles problem and City have been careful not to rush the former Nuneaton Town hitman back.

Taylor, who has scored four times this season, has not been involved since the FA Trophy defeat to Altrincham last month because of a hamstring strain. Meanwhile, tomorrow’s match at the Lane will be segregated.

Halifax supporters have been allocated the canal end and block ‘D’ of the main stand.

They will enter the ground through the canal end turnstiles and will not have access to the social club.

Worcester fans have the rest of the ground and the usual entrances.
