GRAHAM Turner is hoping Hereford United can reproduce their FA Cup form tomorrow night when they take on Notts County at Meadow Lane (7.45pm).

Hereford have not won since beating Port Vale 4-0 in the FA Cup second round at Edgar Street on December 2 after drawing 0-0 and 1-1 with Peterborough and Torquay respectively.

But they crafted their triumph against the League One side without cup-tied midfielders John Eustace and Neil MacKenzie.

Eustace and MacKenzie have since been recalled from their loan spells by Stoke City and Scunthorpe United, eliminating them from the Bulls' preparation.

Turner, though, still believes he has a good enough squad ahead of the Nottingham trip and is confident Luke Webb and Andy Ferrell, who played against Port Vale, can step up to the plate.

The Hereford chief said: "It doesn't leave me short in terms of numbers but a little experience has gone through the door.

"But Luke Webb and Andy Ferrell both did exceptionally well in the FA Cup game against Port Vale and got goals so I have no qualms about putting them in."

Another reason for Hereford's cup form to return is the fact they lost 3-0 to Shropshire rivals Shrewsbury Town last Saturday, a team they defeated to set up the Port Vale cup clash.

"It was disappointing at Shrewsbury," Turner said. "We did have a 20-minute spell in the second-half to get back into it but it didn't materialise and when we conceded the second goal we lost all our discipline. The aim is to put it right at Notts County."

Andy Williams has given United a Christmas boost by returning to training after suffering from a throat infection, which saw him lose nine pounds in weight.

The striker is unlikely to feature tomorrow night but could be part of Turner's plans for the busy fixture schedule ahead, starting at home to Bristol Rovers on Boxing Day.

Centre-half Dean Beckwith begins a three-match ban for his red card at Shrewsbury and is set to be replaced by Martyn Giles.

Notts County's leading scorer Jason Lee misses tomorrow night's clash as he serves the last of a two-match ban after picking up five yellow cards.
