FRENCH forward Remi Dibo has left Worcester Wolves after just half a season with the British League club.

The 6ft 7ins player, who joined from West Virginia University last August, has opted to return home and take a break from the game.

Dibo, 23, has averaged 8.5 points from 22 matches and becomes the third summer recruit to leave mid-campaign.

Centre Donatas Visockis quit in November, and has since linked up with Surrey United, while Sean Park also left before the new year.

Head coach Paul James said: “Remi has made the decision to go back to France and not play for the remainder of the season.

“It’s tough here — we have expectations of what we want at the club and what we want from our players.

“Sometimes players can struggle with that pressure. We wish him well for the future and hopefully he can return to playing with another side next year.”
