Evesham Utd 4, Stourbridge o A FABULOUS first half display of attacking football brought Evesham four goals and three points.
Troy Wood opened the floodgates after four minutes and provider Daniel Lennon made it 2-0 ten minutes later with another composed finish.
The Robins continued to knock the ball around confidently and Mark Owen wrapped up the win eight minutes before the break with a clinical finish.
Leon Blake was the provider on the occasion and his searching pass in first half stoppage-time picked out Wood on the edge of the penalty area and the loan striker's control and sweet finish ended a stunning half of football in matching fashion.
Mark Bellingham should have given Stourbridge a second half consolation as both sides rang the changes but it was Wood who missed a golden chance to notch his hat-trick but headed Courtney Shaw's late cross over the top.
Evesham will be hoping for more of the same when they play host to Spalding United on Tuesday night.
