MAN for man, I don't think Droylsden are any better than Worcester.

I know their manager Dave Pace said to Dave Boddy we were the best side they have played over the two games this season but we just lack that little bit and ultimately that has been the story of the season.

The players just need to show a bit more ruthlessness in front of goal. We had three excellent chances in the first-half on Saturday that you would expect to put away and we didn't.

Droylsden took their first-half chance. We managed to get back into the game but they took their second opportunity too. They have got that ruthless streak in front of goal and that's a general thing with the whole team, not just the strikers.

Their midfielder, Gareth Morris, scored the first goal and we need to be more clinical when we are on top in games.

At the other end we defended really well but lacked that little bit of concentration.

We showed players inside for both goals when we should have shown them down the line and it cost us on both occasions.

If we had shown them down the line, I guarantee we would have dealt with any cross.

How many times this season have players come inside and hit a shot from 25 yards into the top corner? We need to start showing people down the line, that's the safest area.

Droylsden have played poorly against teams this season and have still come up with a result. They grind out a 1-0 or win 2-1 or get a point when they don't deserve anything.

We don't - we play well against the good sides and still don't get anything. We may play poorly against a poor side and don't get anything.

Meanwhile, Shabir Khan did really well against Droylsden. But there are times where he switches off.

There'll be three or four times in a game where it happens and then the rest of the game he's outstanding.

He would have every chance of going on to bigger and better things if he can sort out his concentration.

He's one that will definitely stand out but then there'll be a few occasions where he could just cost you a goal because he's lacked concentration.

He is still a young lad but, if he wants to progres, he has to learn quickly rather than in three or four years' time because his opportunity to move on to bigger and better things will be gone.

Also, I am really pleased to see that Troy Wood is playing at Evesham. We were disappointed to see him as a substitute against Aylesbury on February 24 but he played well against Stourbridge on Saturday and scored two goals.

He will come back after his month's loan and will be straight back in the action and pushing the players that are in the team.

We need players pushing in all positions and Troy's going to come back with loads of confidence.
