WHILE I am Worcester City manager I will always give 100 per cent.

I want to take Worcester into the Conference and be a full-time football club - that was my aim when I arrived and it's still my aim now.

Football and Worcester City is my life. It's the most important thing outside my family and sometimes I get frustrated because for some of the players it isn't.

They have jobs which they think are more important and I have to accept that because it brings in the majority of their earnings.

I have got a job to do and an aim for the football club. I have a desire to do well, keep the club moving forward and get in the Conference and hopefully beyond.

That desire will never leave me.

Seeing Andy Morrison depart was difficult for me. He's someone I can rely on all the time, he's more like a brother than just a friend. It's been a tough decision.

We talked about it over a long period of time. Since we have been together at the club we have been talking about it being part-time and the frustrations that come with that.

Andy wanted to be doing football full-time, he wants to be with the players full-time and he found that a little bit frustrating.

He was hoping we would get into the Conference with the possibility of going full-time. With it not being this year he felt it was best for it to end now.

I would like to thank him for all his work and effort since he's been at the club.

Everybody has benefitted and I think it's been a successful period.

We have made progress on and off the field and hopefully that can continue.

Andy is one of the best coaches I have worked with as a manager.

He's got massive potential to coach at the highest level and felt this was the right time to do it.

He feels there could be an opportunity in the summer which his coaching abilities deserve. It's not been an easy decision for him to make because he loves the club and the players.

We just have to move on and wish him all the success in the world. I am 110 per cent sure he will be successful because he's so good at his job. He has always given 100 per cent - it's all or nothing with him.

He wanted to give me more time to think about what I wanted to do to go forward into next season without it being a sudden thing in the summer.

I would like to be full-time. One or two things have come up but nothing has happened as yet but I am 100 per cent committed to getting Worcester City promotion.

We were hoping to be in the new ground and things have been held back. When we get the ground sorted we will become one of the major players in the league.

Meanwhile, I was pleased with the performance against Alfreton but a bit disappointed it's this late on in the season.

It was a performance that would get you promoted if we could turn on that sort of display on a regular basis.

Chris Smith has gone through the pain barrier with his ankle injury over the last three or four games.

I didn't want him to get to the point where it affects him pre-season.

So we are just going to rest him until he's ready to come back.
