MALVERN Town manager Paul Molloy wants his team to end the season on a high and win their final home match.

Town have two games left in Southern League Division One Midlands but complete their Langland Stadium campaign against Rushall Olympic on Saturday (3pm).

Malvern have the worst home record in the division with just four victories from 20 games.

However, they have never been in danger of relegation because of an away record that has seen them win eight times on the road, a statistic only bettered by three teams.

Manager Molloy has called on his players to register their fifth home win of the season tomorrow but knows it will be tough after watching them lose 4-0 at Rothwell last Saturday.

He said: "We still want to finish as high as we can but the way we are playing it's as if there's nothing left to play for.

"We were awful on Saturday, it was the worst performance of the season. We would like to finish on a high at home because we haven't done that well here."

Wes Joyce is the only player missing for Saturday's match as he completes his six-game suspension.

Otherwise, Molloy has a fully fit squad to pick from and even gave some of the first team a run-out in the reserves' 2-1 victory against Blackheath on Tuesday in a bid to find some form.

Reserve goalkeeper Mark Wright is set to continue in the team after taking over from Craig Humphries after the custodian was released.

Midfielder Gary Walker remains on loan from Worcester City and is likely to stay with Malvern until the end of the season. He can, though, be recalled at any time by the St George's Lane club as cover.
