KIDDERMINSTER Harriers have secured another academy player on a professional deal at Aggborough.
Promising winger Dan Sweeney, 17, has penned a contract for 2015-16 after impressing in pre-season training and games, including scoring in a 2-0 win at Bedworth United.
He enjoyed a strong first campaign with Andy Blakeley’s academy and will continue his academic studies at Birmingham Metropolitan College.
Sweeney said: "I’m lost for words. I never expected this to happen so early in my career and for it to happen at a club like Kidderminster as well. I definitely feel like I can pursue my career from here.”
Midfielders Luke Maxwell, Kennedy Digie and defender Tyrone Williams have also stepped up from the academy.
