FORMER Worcester Royal Grammar School pupil Ed Pollock has signed an academy development contract with Warwickshire County Cricket Club.
High Wycombe-born Pollock is former Worcestershire junior and made his first-class debut against Somerset last April, for Durham MCCU.
The 20-year-old will be part of Dougie Brown's first-team squad at Edgbaston.
Pollock is studying at Durham University and played for Herefordshire in the Minor Counties Championship last summer, hitting 227 not out against Shropshire.
Warwickshire, now under the leadership of former England batsman Ian Bell, are looking to improve on a 2015 campaign in which they finished fifth in Division One in the County Championship.
