DANNY Huffor has been named in British Basketball League’s team of the week after starring in Worcester Wolves’ 99-68 thrashing of Sheffield Sharks in the BBL Trophy.
The 29-year-old forward was the standout performer for Wolves last Friday as he rained down a deluge of triples to knock Sharks out of the competition.
He finished with 31 points after making a scintillating seven of nine from long range as well as claiming two steals on an impressive night’s work.
His stellar display secured him a place in BBL’s coveted All Star Five, which includes Darrell Bethune (Levett Essex Leopards), Pierre Hampton (Leicester Riders), Anton Grady (Plymouth Raiders) and Scott Martin (Newcastle Eagles).
Meanwhile, Andrew Bachman, who rattled in 23 points and made five rebounds against Sheffield, earned a spot on the bench along with Leslee Smith (Bristol Flyers), Peter Hooley (Plymouth Raiders), Earl Brown Jnr (Cheshire Phoenix), Hayden Lescault (Glasgow Rocks), Richard Bell (Manchester Giants), Rahmon Fletcher (Esh Group Eagles Newcastle).
