NORTH Midlands invitation rugby club The Guanos are back in action tomorrow when they face Kings Norton veterans under the Hopwood Park floodlights.
Guanos were formed in 1981 to play a Barbarians-style of rugby and attracted some of the leading players from the region and further afield for charity and celebratory matches.
Steve Lloyd, the ex-Moseley, Worcester and Midlands lock, has taken over the running of the side.
Guanos will help Woodrush celebrate their 50th anniversary at Forhill on April 1.
They will play Torbay veterans at Paignton on April 29 with a possible fixture against Worcester Wanderers to be arranged.
Guanos are looking for players, primarily veterans, who can email Lloyd at sjlloyd@gmx.co.uk.
