WORCESTER St John's held a club time trial on the new Hallow 10-mile course.
It was a challenge for all cyclists with rolling ups and downs, a headwind and low sun for the first half of the course.
Simon Garrett was again the quickest in 24 minutes and just managed an average speed of 25mph.
Ben Alexander from Bristol University pipped Steve Clarke for second place by one second in 24.49.
Club time trial first-timer Catherine Coley was the first woman in 27.07.
Also beating 30 minutes was the quickest under 16s rider Dylan Perkins in 29.59.
James Davidson took first junior spot in 27.47 and Stuart Parker won the road bike category in 28.31.
Jason Milner was fourth overall in 25.30 followed by Simon Adcook in 25.44, Ed Dursley in 25.59, Rob Nicholls in 26.03, Dave Walker in 26.13, Mark Hand in 26.34 and Sean Dyson in 26.45.
