GOALKEEPER coach Simon Phillips has agreed to join Worcester City's backroom staff for the coming 2017-18 season.
The 38-year-old, a former coach at youth level with Kidderminster Harriers, has been helping keepers for 20 years and worked extensively in the USA at clubs, colleges and universities.
Phillips expressed his "delight at signing for a great club like Worcester City" where he will join joint managers Lee Hughes and John Snape.
He added: "I am looking forward to working alongside Lee and John for the forthcoming season.
"My role will not only be to oversee the first-team goalkeepers but also the whole of the youth ranks and help provide a pathway for the keepers into the first team."
