STEVE Roode battled against the elements as he completed his solo mission at the 24h Conti Thunder Run.
The race, held at Catton Park, Walton on Trent, is a non-stop relay and is made up of a 10k cross-country circuit.
Teams take it in turns to do each leg, but Roode went solo as he ran the course repeatedly over a 24-hour period. It rained throughout, but the Malvern Joggers runner did 150k in 26 hours one minute.
Nic Dauncey and Matt Lancett competed in the Wye Valley 10k. Dauncey finished in 22nd place in 42 minutes 12 seconds with Lancett just behind in 42.47.
Dauncey then did the Stratford Summer Six in 39.39.
