TWO Worcester girls have secured their karate black belts.
Shushinkai Karate School students Tia Francis, 11, and Angel Rose Reeves, 15, achieved their first dan ranks.
The girls from the Christopher Whitehead Language College-based St John's class were rewarded at the awards ceremony at Worcester's Fownes Hotel after impressing examiner sensei Murayama from Japan.
Francis is the youngest girl in the dojo to achieve the award having just turned 11.
