WORCESTER City top scorer Dave Reynolds will need a fitness test ahead of tomorrow's Midland League Premier Division visit of lowly Rocester (3pm).

Fourteen-goal Reynolds, who came off the bench for 40 minutes in last Saturday's 1-0 home win over Lye Town, missed training last night with a sore knee.

Experienced forwards Lee Hughes and Mark Danks, who have scored 11 and 10 respectively, could keep their places against second-from-bottom Rocester at Bromsgrove's Victoria Ground.

Left-back Jamie Smith is fit to play after coming off at half-time last weekend with a slight back strain.

City's players had an unexpected midweek rest with Tuesday's visit to Stourport Swifts postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

But the games come thick and fast with Wednesday's trip to mid-table Westfields followed by a weekend home game with fellow high-fliers Sporting Khalsa.

Fifth-placed City will give their young guns a chance with winger Calum Harper and forward Ethan Moran involved with the squad after impressing for the table-topping under 21s side.
