WARRIORS
5 Pennell – uncharacteristic error-strewn showing from the full-back as he spilled the ball too many times and his kicking went awry at times.
7 Heem – threatening with ball in hand but Warriors did not spend enough time in Tigers’ half to capitalise on his assets.
7 Willison – lively afternoon as he linked up well in midfield before spending 20 minutes at fly-half after Baldwin’s injury.
6 Mills – forced off with a blow to his ankle on 23 minutes and will be pleased to see the end of this four-week block after a succession of bruising displays.
5 Adams – made little impact in attack and brushed aside by loosehead prop Bateman for Tigers’ second try.
6 Shillcock – kicked well out of hand and resiliently defended his channel but opposite number Toomua ran the show for Leicester.
5 Arr – in for the injured Hougaard, the experienced scrum-half’s poor kick and knock-on at the start of the second half summed up his day.
7 Waller – scrummaged well as Warriors got the edge at the set-piece and made an impression in the loose before being replaced.
6 Singleton – returning after a back problem, the hooker got stuck in but saw a few line-out throws stolen.
7 Schonert – like Waller, the tighthead prop held firm at scrum-time and did not put a foot wrong in defence under pressure.
5 Barry – two handling mistakes in the first 20 minutes and struggled to get Warriors on the front foot.
5 Spencer – subdued display from the lock who failed to make many dents in Leicester’s defence and made several errors.
6 Denton – spent too much time on the back foot against the team he will join in the summer but strong in the tackle.
7 FA’OSILIVA – scored Warriors’ only try when he got on the end of a driving maul and was an effective ball-carrier. My man of the match.
5 Van Velze – day to forget as the number eight missed five tackles, more than any other player, failing to stop Bateman on his way to the try-line.
