- FT: BOLDMERE 1 (Reid 60) CITY 1 (Ambalu 52)
- JOEL Ambalu's first City goal was soon cancelled out in a well-matched draw that all but ends Worcester's promotion push.
- There was little to choose between the teams with Ambalu beating the offside trap to eventually keep his cool and net seven minutes into the second half.
- Constant menace Ben Usher-Shipway provided the assist for Boldmere's leveller on the hour, though, firing across goal for Rikardo Reid to slide in.
- The match opened up more towards the end with the Mikes having as many chances as City, although the visitors had the best two.
- Ben Robinson hit straight at keeper Lewis Fenney from a couple of yards out with five minutes left, while James Baldwin slammed wide of the near post in the scramble after Jack Skinner had inexplicably headed back to Fenney with Ambalu lurking in added time.
- BOLDMERE: Fenney, Rosser, Abraham, Gayle, Craven, Lyng, Usher-Shipway, Brauns, Reid, Skinner, Mitchell.
- Subs: Williams, Ray, Andrews, Brooks, Wagstaff.
- CITY: Dayus, Birley, J Smith, Stoddart, M Smith, Hayward, Ambalu, Forsyth, Turton, Moran, Tomkinson.
- Subs: Danks, Baldwin, Halil, Gomes, Robinson.
