MARTLEY were thwarted by the weather at home to Harborne thirds in Worcestershire League Division Three.
Harborne opener Emil Ali (76) and Callum Williamson (50) guided the visitors to 180-2 before James Ganderton (4-32) helped reduce them to 210-7.
Lewis Baines (33) and Tim Matthews (25) saw Harborne to 289 despite Oli Dunks' 3-26.
In light drizzle Martley got to 97-3 through Dom Jones (38) and Dunks (22) before the heavens opened.
The seconds defied the weather with a 143-run thrashing of Alveley to go fourth in Division Four.
Martley scored 272-7 through debutant David Kelly (52 not out), Rob Ganderton (40), Mark Kennedy (21), Paul Galvin (32), Stu Watt (32) and Tom Butler (23).
Alveley’s replied started well before Max Houchin parted the openers.
Kelly took 1-32 from nine overs before Martley won on the Duckworth-Lewis method with Alveley on 129-2 in the 27th over when the game was ended by rain.
