DROITWICH Spa notched their second West Midlands League Division One win of the season as they overcame hosts Gornal Athletic 2-0.

Spa went ahead as James Lemon's low shot into the far corner beat keeper Ashley Green.

Matty Hunt headed over before half-chances in the second period for Cory Rudd and Brad Burgess.

Then Lemon was fouled in the area and the returning Curtis Townley stepped up to dispatch the penalty.

Bromyard Town picked up their first win of the campaign, seeing off visitors Newport Town 2-1.
