ENGLAND women's under 20s won the Tri-Nations Cup after a 27-17 triumph over Canada.

Worcester Valkyries full-back Victoria Laflin, a student at the city's university, and forward Charlie Wilcock started the game with Akina Gondwe on the bench.

In rainy conditions in Halifax, England ran in four tries to return unbeaten from the three-game tour.

England had already overcome Canada 36-22 and USA 43-17, taking home the title in Nova Scotia.
