WORCESTER Warriors are likely to be without hooker Jack Singleton for Sunday’s trip to Sale Sharks in the Gallagher Premiership (3pm).
Singleton was forced to miss Warriors’ 21-20 loss to Wasps last Saturday due to a neck problem and boss Alan Solomons admitted he was still struggling with the issue.
Should the talented 22-year-old fail to recover in time Niall Annett looks set to retain the number two shirt after making his long-awaited return to top-flight action.
Annett who missed the entire 2017-18 campaign due to injury played 51 minutes against Wasps before being replaced by USA international Joe Taufete’e.
“Jack’s neck is still bothering him a little bit,” Solomons said.
“We will have a look at it.
“But Niall did really well for a guy who has been out for a long time.
“He played 50 minutes of rugby and I thought he did outstandingly well.
“Joey did well so we are fortunate to have those two there.
“For Jack to come into consideration he has got to be injury free.”
