GOALKEEPER Sam Gilder is on the verge of joining Worcester City and could be part of tomorrow’s squad to face Dunkirk (3pm).
The Bishop’s Cleeve custodian has been on City’s radar since the summer but got struck down by appendicitis.
Terms have been agreed with the ex-Evesham United stopper and should the paperwork be completed in time, he will come into contention for the trip to Nottinghamshire with dual-registered Dan Jezeph recalled by National North Tamworth for one match this weekend.
Fellow stopper Matt Gwynne featured three times for City prior to Jezeph's recall for the past four matches.
