WORCESTER'S Black Pear Joggers runners secured victory at the Buff Joust 24-hour challenge.

The off-road, multi-lap race involving teams and solo runners went from Top Barn Farm in Holt Heath along the river to Grimley.

Eighteen circuits of the 5.56-mile lap secured a 100-mile distance with two Joggers women breaking that.

Emily Seward was first solo woman with 105.64 miles and Ewelina Skolimowska second with 100.08.

Jess Hathaway was 10th with 66.72 and Rebecca Spencer 19th with 22.24.

For the men, Tim Hosell was 10th with 83.4 and Gerald Sanders 34th with 61.16.

Joggers' Becky Dillon and Tony Farnsworth won the mixed pairs team event with 122.32.

For six to eight mixed, Mark Dillon, Nic Dauncey, Mat Capel, Lucy Capel and Rhian Protheroe were joined by Malvern Joggers' Alison Priest, Kareen Mann and Ian Walwyn for second spot with 155.68.

Ryan Little lined up with a Pershore Plum Plodders team for second in the three to five mixed with 133.44.
