WARRIORS

8 Pennell – was reliable under the high ball, made good in roads down the flanks and secured the bonus-point try just before the internal.

8 Heem – put in a huge tackle on May from the kick off to announce Warriors’ intent and caused Tigers havoc when he got hold of the ball, racking up more than 100 metres.

8 Venter – his best performance in a Warriors jersey as he linked up play superbly and his break in the dying moments led to Hill’s match-winning try.

8 Mills – was another star performer for Worcester as he pulled the strings in midfield, producing a stunning offload to release Heem in the lead up to Singleton’s try.

7 Adams – had a quieter afternoon than Worcester’s other backs and missed one too many tackles down his wing but showed determination and almost crossed the whitewash at the death.

9 WEIR – an outstanding performance from the fly-half who racked up 22 points including two converted tries in the first seven minutes and was instrumental in other scores. My man of the match.

8 Hougaard – really got his side ticking with quick ball from the breakdown as Warriors’ attack finally burst into life and the scrum-half was also brave in defence.

6 Black – struggled at scrum time as he was penalised on three occasions with England tighthead Cole often getting the edge in the battle.

8 Singleton – making his first start of the season, the hooker made an instant impact, scoring a try and went close to getting another. Warriors’ lineout was also more reliable when he was on the field.

7 Schonert – fresh from his call-up to the England training squad, the tighthead displayed his qualities in the scrum before going off with a dead leg.

7 Bresler – did not add a lot in attack as Warriors’ backs shone but the second row who replaced Barry in the starting line-up put in a solid 80-minute shift.

7 Phillips – hard to fault the former Jersey lock’s performance as the lineout ran well and he made some hard yards before being forced off with a thumb problem at half-time.

8 Mama – showed grit and determination to secure a couple of turnovers for Worcester as he was effective in both defence and attack.

8 Lewis – played a starring role in Warriors’ superb start, setting up Weir for his second, before an injury ended his afternoon but his replacement, Hill, had a Premiership debut to remember.

8 Van Velze – his opposite number Kalamafoni may have been more explosive with ball in hand but Warriors' captain made good decisions and demonstrated clear intent throughout.
