A WORCESTER duo were crowned men's pairs skittles knockout champions at the Serious About Events competition.
Former Worcester City footballer Darren Bullock and Lee Tomkins, who play for Rattlers, picked up the title which involved players from across the country ahead of the British Championships.
Bullock, who enjoyed a professional football career with the likes of Huddersfield Town and Swindon Town, had won the skittles competition the previous year too but with Sam Albone.
At Torquay’s Riviera International Centre, another Rattlers skittles ace in ex-Hibernian footballer Jamie Insall finished fourth in the singles knockout after missing a spare in the last leg to deny him the crown.
