WORCESTER City boys' under 10s have made a strong start to their NERF Junior Premier League campaign.

The team, coached by Simon Lancaster and Lee Bussey, beat Stourbridge 3-1 in their latest match and sit top of the table above Kidderminster Harriers A.

After forming at the start of the season with a collection of local talent, they have registered two wins from two.

There were convincing wins for City's under 14s and under 15s who defeated Stoke RTC and Birmingham St George’s 6-0 and 11-0 respectively.

A resounding performance by the under 12s saw their possession football and slick passing defeat Kidderminster Harriers 8-1.

The under 11s battled to victory at Rushall Olympic while the girls' under 10s found the net twice and impressed with their attacking football at times in their first away match at Catshill Wildcats.

As part of the league’s futsal development programme, the under 13s enjoyed their first taste of the fast five-a-side game.

They travelled to Gloucester to play successive matches against Evesham United and Kidderminster Harriers.
