CALLOW End will make history by becoming the first Worcester & District League team to compete in the FA Sunday Cup.
The triple-winning untouchables embark on their maiden voyage with a 180-mile round trip to Nottinghamshire tomorrow (2pm) to face Eastwood CFC.
It is one of 23 ties with another 41 entrants receiving byes to round two including Hardwick Social from Stockton-on-Tees, the team that has lifted the cup at Brammall Lane, Sheffield United, in each of the past two seasons.
Callow End won the league, Vaughn Albone Memorial Cup and Worcestershire FA Sunday Premier Cup for the second season in a row last term.
Worcester City captain Jordan Stoddart, one of his predecessors Brad Birch and the league’s leading scorer and Stourport Swifts hotshot Nick MacPherson are among the team’s star attractions.
Should Callow End progress, any home ties will be played at Malvern Town.
