DAN Jezeph was our Worcester City star man at South Normanton. Who was yours?

STAR MAN – DAN JEZEPH 7

Came for and claimed more than his fair share of crosses as well as weighing in with some solid saves, particularly late on. Distribution was the only question mark.

LUKE ENGLISH 6

Plenty of effort, defensively solid and had as much impact as anyone else going forward. Long throws should prove an asset as the season progresses.

TYLER WEIR 5

Quiet afternoon for the returning wing-back. One of a few to cut a frustrated figure.

GEORGE FORSYTH 5

Solid without being spectacular in the centre. You have to feel for anyone who has such a horrible moment with a penalty.

JORDAN STODDART 6

Did the job he was there to, not quite as comfortably as you might expect at times. Missed a good chance in the first half.

JOEL CAINES 6

A couple of important blocks and interceptions but passing was wayward at times and had one or two wobbles.

JAMES BALDWIN 5

Tried but drifted in and out of the game. Laid on one or two chances but generally lacked end product.

CHRIS WITHINGTON 5.5

Not quite his usual sprightly self but to his credit kept trying while subjected to the odd crunching foul in the middle of a bruising battle.

JORDAN HARRISON 5

Another one who kept plugging away without much success. Got drawn into tangles with burly defenders too often rather than giving them the slip.

LIAM LOCKETT 5.5

Tried to impose his natural game in a match that turned into a war of attrition. Could have done with adjusting things having hit a few blind alleys.

ADAM OSBOURNE 4.5

Got away with some poor decision making at times. Looked uncomfortable all afternoon and could have done more to either eradicate or make up for slips.
