MALVERN’S Lottie Trevethan has been selected to compete for Great Britain at fencing competitions.
The 15-year-old will head to France, Denmark and Germany over the next eight weeks.
With a top 10 United Kingdom ranking at under 17 cadet épée, Trevethan leaves for her first competition at the end of the month.
She is coached by Malvern-based GB épée coach John Rees.
Trevethan, whose main sport is modern pentathlon, won this years Malvern Hills young sports personality of the year.
