SOME impressive Worcester City Youth performances saw two sides maintain their unbeaten runs.

In a display coach Darren Hobbs described as the best he’s witnessed in his four years with the team, the boys' under 15s won a seven-goal thriller at Stoke RTC.

Alex Watts (2), Archie Mears and Luke Walsh found the net.

There were four goals for the girls' under 18s too plus a clean sheet.

City kept their 100 per cent record going with a home win over Wyre Forest Phoenix as Mia Badland (2), Becca Finch and Hollie Congrave were on the mark.

Also in fine form at Perdiswell were the boys' under 18s who shot down table-topping MK Dons.

An emphatic first-half effort saw them sail into a 4-0 lead thanks to goals from Tom Mills, Olly Berry, Tom Griffin and Curtis Turner.

The visitors pulled two back and could have made things interesting but for a superb penalty save by home keeper Ben Clay that maintained the two-goal lead.
