WHOEVER takes the gloves for Kidderminster Harriers on Saturday when Torquay United head to Aggborough can expect a busy afternoon.

Mark Yates' men were involved in a nine-goal thriller at Ebbsfleet United last Saturday, while the Gulls had the better of a nine-goal fest with Histon on Tuesday night.

So it is fair to say the smart money is not on a goalless draw.

Harriers are hoping first-choice keeper Scott Bevan has overcome a thigh strain to face Torquay, who are looking to become only the fifth side to bounce straight back to the Football League following their relegation last term.

But the Devon side's campaign got off to an auspicious start when they brought Leroy Rosenior back to the club for a second spell in charge.

His time at the helm only lasted 10 minutes after chairman Mike Bateson sold the club.

With all the off-field dramas complete, Torquay now have to find a way of stopping Harriers hit-men James Constable and Justin Richards.

Constable has the midas touch, banging in two hat-tricks in four games and adding to his tally on Tuesday in the 3-1 victory over Droylsden.

"We have two guys playing really well at the moment and it's vital they continue to do so," said Yates.

"We have four strikers in the squad who are contributing in their own way but at the moment James and Justin are wearing the jerseys.

"Everything starts with them so when they play well it gives us a lift. James is a confident lad and he's playing well and scoring goals at the moment, but Justin plays an integral part in the side. He's scored four in 10 games, which isn't a bad contribution.

"Justin has been superb for us because he gives us something extra. As long as they continue to work hard they will keep on scoring goals and giving us an edge."

With Bevan facing a late fitness test, Dean Coleman is ready to deputise again, while Gavin Hurren starts a three-match ban for a red card.
