GRAHAM Turner believes Hereford United are ready to record their first league win of the season at Edgar Street.

The Bulls are fifth in League Two but have only taken two points from their first three matches on home soil, drawing with Rotherham and Rochdale before losing 1-0 to Macclesfield.

Seventh-placed Bradford City are the visitors on Saturday and Turner is confident his side have the quality, borne out of three away wins, including last Saturday's 3-0 victory at Morecambe, to break their duck.

He said: "That sequence will end shortly. We've had enough chances in the three opening matches to have taken all nine points but we should have won two out of the three.

"As long as we continue to make chances, as long as we don't lose our confidence in front of goal, sooner or later it will start going in.

"I think it's a super game in prospect. Bradford have got big resources and they had a gate of over 13,000 last Saturday for Peterborough's visit (Bradford won 1-0).

"We know it will be hard, they're expected to bring over 1,000 supporters here to Edgar Street so it should be a decent game and atmosphere.

"Following the victory at Morecambe and confidence being sky high, we can look forward to it and we are in a lovely position at the moment. It's a pleasure looking at the league table."

He added: "I thought we played well at Morecambe, we controlled the game for long periods, created a number of good opportunities and, in the end, we wore them down.

"We knew it would be difficult, it's never easy to go up to Morecambe, but I felt we did everything right and we were delighted with the result.

"We looked at the video of the Macclesfield match and felt we had enough opportunities to have won that game comfortably but we failed to take them.

"What we needed to look at was passing the ball more and we did just that at Morecambe so that in particular was pleasing."

Full-back Trent McClenahan is once again available for selection after returning from international duty with Australia.

On-loan Watford striker Theo Robinson is expected to be fit.
