TYLER Harvey became the 0800 Reverse Mountain Board Schools Champion for the second year running.

Fourteen schools took part from Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.

In total, 37 riders competed in the challenge at the Out to Grass Mountain Board Centre in Cradley.

Teige Stewart, representing Wigmore High School, took second place and third was James Howe, of Tenbury High School.

Fourth was Oliver Weaver from Royal Grammar School Worcester and joint fifth was Ben Molyneux, of Wyedean School, and Lewis Young, of Weobley High School.

As well as taking home the trophy, Harvey, 16, also won a £150 sports voucher for his school, Whitecross High.

The event was organised by Action Sports Alliance whose chairman Roger Swannell said: "Once again this year we had a great response to this competition."

Ian Johnson, who runs Out to Grass, will be hosting a club challenge this weekend and anyone is welcome to join in.
