NUMBER-eight Matt Cox scooped the Worcester News star man following a magnificent return to Premiership action.
The 30-year-old set off on more runs than any of his colleagues in a full-throttle team display in the 20-13 success over Harlequins at Sixways.
As well as carrying the ball so well, Cox weighed in with 15 tackles to ensure he was at the heart of everything Worcester did.
It was a night for brute force but stand-in skipper Ryan Mills stood up to be counted at both ends.
He topped the whopping tackle count while being at the hub of the home side’s better moves and providing what ended up being the match-winning try.
Duncan Weir produced the goods when required, landing tricky kicks from out wide with Chris Pennell's halfway-line heroics just as crucial.
Try-scorer Nick Schonert and Francois Venter barely dropped a stitch off the ball and deserve mentions for keeping at bay the Harlequins attack but the glory goes to Cox for making such a stellar return to the Premiership XV.
